Ah, life is good...Mia has taken to napping on the dining chairs - but only if they are sufficiently under the table.  It took a while to figure out where she went but when she was really comfortable she left a hint!

hi Lauren,

Today's image is from one of Mia's favorite spots - in the red chair overlooking the deck.  I noticed the lighting as I was petting her and she was purring away!  I ran for the camera and it was perfect timing because in minutes the lighting changed and the shadows evaporated.

Bonjour Mompea!

C'est trop jolie, ton photo!  Sorry for not replying sooner...I actually didn't take a photo Monday because it was pouring (it's the party of the frog, they say...) And yesterday, there was the most beautiful sunset and I thought the picture didn't come out, but I just uploaded my photos and there it was!  Isn't that like out of a fairy tale?  I swear I didn't photoshop anything!

Dear Lauren,

And so it begins...this is harder than I thought!  You are in an environment surrounded by images that are fresh and new.  And I am at home, a place that you know well.  Your comment about how familiar your life is feeling to you right now got me to thinking about how familiar my life is to me as well.  So the challenge in participating in a photo exchange will be seeking unfamiliar images and a unique perspective.  I am looking forward to exploring images that reflect that and look forward to our "chat".
